Customer choice comes before compensation.
Energy Price Choice may receive supplier compensation when a customer chooses a plan. Compensation does not decide what a customer should do and does not replace current source review or required disclosures.
What compensation does not mean
- It does not prove a supplier relationship, current offer, licensing status, or enrollment authority.
- It does not turn historical or prototype data into live pricing.
- It does not guarantee savings or require a customer to switch.
What a customer should review
- Current source and effective date.
- Utility and account context.
- Rate type, term, fees, renewal language, and plan documents.
- Whether switching, monitoring, or staying put fits the documented facts.
