Read your energy bill in the order that protects your decision.

A bill review should clarify what the utility delivers, what supply section appears, which account context applies, and what still needs current-source confirmation.

Find account context

  • Service address and customer name.
  • Utility name and account identifiers.
  • Customer class, rate schedule, or rate class when shown.

Separate delivery and supply

Look for delivery, distribution, generation, supply, or supplier sections. Labels vary. Do not assume one line represents the whole bill or proves a switching option.

Record decision details

  • Usage period and units.
  • Current supplier or default-service wording when shown.
  • Term, fees, renewal language, and source date from current documents.

Ask for details

If the bill, contract, utility name, or account class is unclear, pause. A source-aware review can identify what needs confirmation before any decision.
